Gwendolyn “Gwen” Kelly Robinson

Funeral services for Gwendolyn “Gwen” Kelly Robinson, 90, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Grandsons, Jarred Robinson, Justin Robinson and Rev. Chris Allen will officiate. Services will conclude at the chapel. Private interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mrs. Robinson passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Monday morning, August 31, 2026.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jarred Robinson, Justin Robinson, Keith Kelly, Kevin Kelly, Timmy Merritt, Stephen Robinson, David Strickland and Maxwell Huseby.

Mrs. Robinson was born on July 1, 1936, in Cairo, GA, to the late Norman Thomas Kelly and Thelma Butler Kelly. On July 2, 1954, she married Leo Winfred Robinson, who preceded her in death on November 28, 2010. They were married for 56 years. She retired in 2001 from the W. B. Roddenbery Company after 45 years of dedicated service in office administration and procurement. She was a member of the Cairo Woman’s Club and a member of the Cairo First Baptist Church.

Survivors include: her children, Robbie Robinson (Barbara) of Franklin, TN, Glenn Robinson (Sherry) of Canton, GA; grandchildren, Jarred Robinson (Amanda) of Port Saint Joe, FL, Justin Robinson (Miranda) of Libby, MT, LeeAnne Robinson of Statesboro, GA, Krista Robinson of Nashville, TN; great-grandchildren, Stephen Robinson, Sean Robinson, Silas Robinson, Samuel Robinson, all of Libby, MT, Sierra Robinson, Savannah Robinson, Seth Robinson, Sawyer Robinson, all of Port Saint Joe, FL; siblings, Kenneth Kelly (Annette) of Thomasville, GA, Elaine Merritt of Tallahassee, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Norman and Thelma Kelley; husband, Winfred Robinson; sons, DeWayne Robinson, Jarrell Robinson; great grandson, Kristopher Robinson; and siblings, Kermit Kelly, Dorothy Jean Hutchinson and Maxine Pisano.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home immediately following the service.
