Debra Kay Bishop Kirksey

Graveside memorial services for Debra Kay Bishop Kirksey, 70, of Hartsfield, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 22, 2026, in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Rev. Allen Hartsfield will officiate. Mrs. Kirksey passed away at her home on Saturday, October 17, 2026.

Mrs. Kirksey was born on September 5, 1956, in Cairo, GA, to the late Delma Bishop and Wilma Wheeler Bishop. On October 10, 1981, she married Charles Randall “Randy” Kirksey, who preceded her in death on November 5, 2020. They were married for over 39 years. She retired from the Social Security Administration and the State Farmers Market. She was a member of the Whigham Methodist Church.

Survivors include: her sons, Chuck Kirksey (Julie) of Bonaire, GA, Blair Kirksey (Sydney) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Charlie Kirksey, Sierra Kirksey, both of Bonaire, GA, Reid Kirksey, Kason Kirksey, both of Cairo, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by: father, Delma Bishop; mother, Wilma Wisham; stepfather, W. L. “Bud” Wisham; her husband, Charles Randall “Randy” Kirksey; and siblings, Paula Duren, Murray Bishop and Sandra Arline.

The family will receive friends at graveside immediately following the service.
