Funeral services for Carolyn Rogers Folsom, 87, of Ochlocknee, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 31, 2026, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. Gerri Simpson will officiate. Services will conclude at the church. Private interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mrs. Folsom passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 28, 2026.

Mrs. Folsom was born on July 21, 1939, in Cairo, GA, to the late John Alfred Rogers and Grace Pyles Rogers. On December 10, 1957, she married James Edward “Pete” Folsom, who preceded her in death on October 14, 2004. She retired as a certified nursing assistant in the health field.

Survivors include: daughters, Naomi Thompson (Andy) of Ochlocknee, GA, Myra Easom (Scott) of Ochlocknee, GA; sons, Lenward Folsom (Pam) of Cairo, GA, Jonathan Folsom (Hollie) of Ochlocknee, GA; brother, Myrle Rogers (Lizzie) of Cairo, GA; host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by: her parents John and Grace Rogers; her husband, James E. Folsom; daughter, Carolyn Glenda Folsom; and siblings, Johnny Rogers, Lamar Rogers, Sylvia Rogers, Wendell Rogers and Randall Rogers.

Memorials may be made in Mrs. Folsom’s memory to: Dog Tags Support System, 7 First Ave. SW, Cairo, GA.
