Buster “Buck” Williamson

Funeral services for Buster “Buck” Williamson, 84, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. Teddy Williamson will officiate. Services will conclude at the chapel. Private interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mr. Williamson passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Friday, July 24, 2026.

Mr. Williamson was born on June 10, 1942, in Cairo, GA, to the late David Washington Williamson and Verla Mae Collins Williamson. He retired from the Oil-Dri Corporation of Georgia.

Survivors include: daughters, Tammy W. Casteel of Panama City, FL, Lisa W. Barnhardt of Pamana City, FL; grandchildren, Keith Lee (Dawn) of Cairo, GA, Amy Starr (Adam) of Cairo, GA, Kimberly Speights (Josh) of Panama City, FL, Victoria Brown (Connor) of Panama City, FL; great-grandchildren, Colin, Hunter, Bralyn, Naomi, Joe, Skyler, Kenston, Karter, Kanden, Emma, Sydney; sister, Velma Hatcher of Camilla, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; his son, David W. Williamson; sisters, Nina Martin, Louise Strickland; and brothers, J. C. Williamson, Ted Williamson.

The family extends their love and thanks to Teddy and Lisa Williamson, Laura Melton and Buster Morris, for their help and caregiving given to Buck.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, July 27, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
