Margie Ansley Anderson

Funeral services for Margie Ansley Anderson, 83, of Ochlocknee, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA.  Pastor Scott Rodriguez will officiate.  Services will conclude at the chapel.  Private interment will be in Pine Forest Baptist Church Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Mrs. Anderson passed away at her home on Sunday, March 6, 2022.

Mrs. Anderson was born on October 27, 1938, in Spence, GA, to the late William Ansley and Margaret Carroll Ansley.  On January 22, 1954, she married Charles Edward Anderson, who preceded her in death on November 29, 1997.  She was a homemaker and member of Pine Forrest Baptist Church in Ochlocknee, GA.

Survivors include: her children, Kathy T. Anderson of Ochlocknee, GA, Charles “Donny” Anderson (Ligia) of Raeford, NC, Sharon Diana Anderson of Thomasville, GA; 5 grandchildren, 11great-grandchildren; brothers, Wayne Ansley of Cairo, GA, J. D. Ansley of Ochlocknee, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by:  parents; husband; son, Scott E. Anderson; great-grandchild, Izaiah Green; sisters, Joyce Buckner, Betty Ponder; Buice Hudson; and brothers, William Homer Ansley, T. J. Ansley, Wilbert Ansley, Albert Ansley, Larry Ansley.
