Linda Cox Lashley
July 11, 1965 – February 18, 2026

Linda Cox Lashley, 60, of Cairo, GA, passed away at her home on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. The family will have a celebration of life service at a later time.

Ms. Lashley was born on July 11, 1965, in Thomasville, GA, to the late Lavon Cox, Sr., and Edna Pearl Adams Cox. She worked at Magnolia Senior Living in Cairo, GA, as a member of the Kitchen Staff and she loved all her residents. She was married to Rodney Lashley for 24 years and they had one amazing daughter, April Michelle Lashley. She was of the Baptist faith, and a member of Pine Park Baptist Church in Pine Park. Linda loved the Lord.

Survivors include: her daughter, April Michelle Lashley of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Brookelyn Cook (Brandon) of Ochlocknee, GA, Shelly Livings of Cairo, GA, Dawton Livings of Climax, GA; great-grandson, Waylon Cook of Ochlocknee, GA; sister, Glenda Moore of Cairo, GA; brothers, Jackie Cox, Sr. of Pine Park, GA, Lavon Cox, Jr. (Patricia) of LaGrange, GA, Jimmy Cox (Evelyn) of Cotton, GA, Larry Cox (Tanya) of Thomasville, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, along with a host of great nieces, and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Lavon Cox, Sr. and Edna Pearl Adams Cox; and brothers, Randy Cox and Gene Cox.
