David Carson Bearden
February 26, 1952 – October 19, 2022

Graveside funeral services for David Carson Bearden, 70, of Cairo, GA, are at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 22, 2022, in the Broome Cemetery, Reno, GA.  Rev. Greg Fenn and Rev. Jimmy Addison.  Mr. Bearden passed away at his home on Wednesday, October 19, 2022.

Active pallbearers will be Mark Bryant, James Stuckey, Chad Parks, Lynwood Cone, Ronnie Thompson and Chris Trawick.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Hammett, Duane Hopkins and Roy Lowe.

Mr. Bearden was born on February 26, 1952, in Cairo, GA, to the late Douglas Bearden and Nell Holton Bearden.  On June 29, 1979, he married Annette Ansley Bearden, who survives.  He was a parts salesman with Chevrolet for many years and worked with the Grady EMC.

Survivors include: his wife of 43 years, Annette Bearden of Cairo, GA; children, Jody Bearden (Blair) of Cairo, GA, Leanna Bearden (Payton) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Sydney Kay Bearden, Turner Bearden, Aaleyah Marshburn, Londyn Marshburn; sister, Elaine Fowler (Dave) of Melbourne, FL; stepbrother, Jake Sanders of Pelham, GA; stepsister, Brenda Willis (Buddy) of Cairo, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by: his parents: his stepmother, Dolly Bearden; and his brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Barbara Bearden.
