Barbara Forester Meades
May 17, 1939 – December 15, 2020

Barbara Louise Forester Meades, 81, of Cairo, GA, passed away at her home on Tuesday, December 15, 2020.  Private graveside memorial services will be on Saturday, December 19, 2020 in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA.

Mrs. Meades was born on May 17, 1939, in Jacksonville, FL, to the late Pryor Russell Forester and Lila Mae Walden Forester.  In 1958, she married Henry Lindsey Meades, Sr., who preceded her in death on February 17, 2004.  She was a nursing home assistant until her retirement.  She was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include: her son, Russell Meades of Tallahassee, FL; grandchildren, Reagan Meades, Bryce Meades, both of Tallahassee, FL, Orion Meades of Davenport, FL, Tyler Meades of Cairo, GA; and loving caretakers, Debra Ann Miller, Dennis B. Brady, both of Cairo, GA.

She was preceded in death by: parents; husband; son, Henry Lindsey Meades, Jr.; and four brothers and one sister.
