Sarah Robertson Touchet
February 24, 1941 – April 13, 2022

Funeral services for Sarah Robertson Touchet, 81, of Cairo, GA, are at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Midway Baptist Church, Cairo, GA.  Rev. Steve Wooten will officiate.  Services will conclude at the church.   Private interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Mrs. Touchet passed away at her home on Wednesday, April 13, 2022.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dean Robertson, Wade Robertson, Jamie Robertson, Dudley Spence, Stewart Spence, Kenny Robertson and Mark Robertson.

Mrs. Touchet was born on February 24, 1941, in Cairo, GA, to the late Stewart Bryan Robertson and Millie Ann Collis Robertson.  On November 10, 1979, she married Joseph Norman Touchet, who preceded her in death on October 19, 2015.  Until her retirement, she was self-employed as a cosmetologist.  She was a member of Midway Baptist Church.

Survivors include: her children, Norma Jean Gerber (Bill) of Thomasville, GA, Judy Touchet of Cairo, GA, Norman David Touchet (Cathy) of Cairo, GA; step-children, Connie Randazzo (Louis) of Madisonville, LA, Marilyn Alvarado of Covington, LA, Vance Touchet of Waco, TX; grandchildren, Amanda Nichole Dorman of Cairo, GA, Kristine Spence Murphy of Madison, GA, Dudley Spence of Madison, GA, Stewart Spence of Madison, GA, Brian Barns of Adel, GA, Brandyn Carver of Havana, FL, Brynlea Daffinson of Cairo, GA, Kandace Cody (Mitchell) of Jacksonville, FL; great-grandchildren, Madison Leigh Williams, Kyleigh Hicks, Brantly Hicks, Turner Murphy; great-great-grandchildren, Joseph Harrell, Missie Barnes, Dallas Barnes; brother, Floyd D. Robertson (Tatiana) of Crawfordville, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; and siblings, Stewart Robertson, Jr., Charles Robertson, Earl Robertson, Aaron Robertson, Lynn Robertson, Guy Robertson, Jim Robertson and Lillian Ellis.

Memorials may be made in Mrs. Touchet’s memory to: Midway Baptist Church, 2389 GA HWY 93 S, Cairo, GA 39828.

The family will receive friends at Midway Baptist Church immediately following the funeral service.
