She was the owner and operator of Standing Ovations Dancewear in Cairo. She was a member of Capel Baptist Church. She loved attending church and singing to the Lord. She always instilled the love of Jesus in her family and those she met. She loved her family and her husband, Wayne. Marie loved to travel, especially her “3 Marie” trips with her daughter and granddaughter.
Marie and her daughter, Lisa, were the founders of Flower Angels Program through Hospice of SW Georgia. They delivered flowers to the sick. Marie never met a stranger. She had a sweet and beautiful soul, that was loved by so many in her community. She always left a “sparkle” wherever she went.
