James David Lashley
December 26, 1964 – January 12, 2021

Mr. Lashley was born on December 26, 1964, in Cairo, GA, to the late J. C. Lashley and Margie Faye Merrit Brownlow. He worked as a welder and in construction. He was of the Christian faith. He was a devoted member of AA in Cairo, GA, and helped as many people as he was allowed. James was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He always had a smile on his face and would go the extra mile for everyone around him. He had a way of making people smile and laugh. Many of his friends called him “Flash.” James was one of a kind.
Survivors include: his wife, Jean Lashley of Thomasville, GA; children, Amanda Rojo (Marco) of Moultrie, GA, Kristin Lashley of Moultrie, GA, Daniel Lashley (Brittany) of Thomasville, GA; grandchildren, Josh, Kaysha, Ava, Lucero, Rhylee, JC, Angel, Blaine, Kota, Raeleigh; brother, Rodney Lashley (Ashley) of Cairo, GA; his stepfather, Warren Brownlow of Cairo, GA; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, J.C. Lashley and his mother, Margie Brownlow.
