William Leo Holloway
March 9, 1946 – August 2, 2025

William L. Holloway, 79, of Cairo, GA, passed away at his home on Saturday, August 2, 2025. The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.

Mr. Holloway was born on March 9, 1946, in Moultrie, GA, to the late Rev. Jonnie B. Holloway and Estell Williams Holloway. On December 8, 1984, he married Lydia Darlene Leighty Holloway. They were married for over 40 years. He was a retired truck driver.

Survivors include: his wife, Lydia Darlene Holloway of Cairo, GA; children, Glenn Holloway (Fronia) of Epworth, GA, Stacey Holloway (Janet) of Ray City, GA, Miranda Dalton (Allen) of Moultrie, GA, Cindy Manning of Ray City, GA, Christi Roy (Gary) of Cairo, GA, Clifford Holloway (Tonya) of Adel, GA; 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Curtis Holloway, Don Holloway, Huey Holloway, all of Moultrie, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; son-in-law, Robert Manning; grandson, Jeffery Holloway; siblings, Buddy Holloway, Jimmy Holloway and Pearl Hester.
