William Lavon Barrineau
March 30, 1941 – March 25, 2017

Memorial services for William Lavon Barrineau, 75, of Cairo, GA, are at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, March 30, 2017, at William’s old home place. Bro. Rickey Whitley will officiate. Mr. Barrineau passed away at Legacy Village at Plantation Manor in Thomasville, GA, on Saturday, March 25, 2017.

Mr. Barrineau was born on March 30, 1941, in Whigham, GA, to the late Grady Barrineau and Jessie Elese Mobley Barrineau. He worked with Coats and Clark in Thomasville, GA, for over 25 years, and then worked for the Grady County Road Department until his retirement. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: a brother, Billy (Rettia) Barrineau of Pelham, GA; sisters, Virdes Jewell Barrineau Hurst of Meigs, GA, Sara Ann Barrineau Pass (James) of Cairo, GA, Linda Gail Barrineau of Cairo, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; a brother, Larry Carlton Barrineau; brother-in-law, Thomas Hurst.
