Funeral services for Tommy Clyde Barrineau, 80, of Thomasville, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 2, 2026, at First Newark Baptist Church, Thomasville, GA. Rev. Steve Brooks will officiate. Military Honors will be presented at the church. Private family interment will be in Providence Community Cemetery, Whigham, GA. Mr. Barrineau passed away at his home in Thomasville, GA, on Thursday, April 30, 2026.

Active pallbearers will be Stacy Barrineau, Collin Barrineau, Robby Marsh, Jamie Marsh, Conner Marsh and Lindsey Gerald.

Mr. Barrineau was born on November 25, 1945, in Cairo, GA, to the late M. C. Barrineau and Ora Belle Halstead Barrineau. He served his country in the United States Army. On October 17, 2015, he married Linda Marsh Barrineau. They have been married for 10 years. Tommy retired as a manager with UPS, Inc. He was a member of First Newark Baptist Church in Thomasville. His hobbies included his love of flowers, gardening and carpentry. Tommy enjoyed spending time with his fishing buddies, his Wednesday lunch buddies and spending time with his family.

Survivors include: his wife, Linda Marsh Barrineau of Thomasville, GA; children, Chuck Barrineau (Sharon) of Dyersburg, TN, Kelli Barrineau Hayes (Mark) of Dyersburg, TN, Beth Barrineau Braden of Dyersburg, TN, Robby Marsh (Charla) of Thomasville, GA, Jamie Marsh (Shannon) of Thomasville, GA; grandchildren, Colton Butler (Bailey) of Dyersburg, TN, Olivia Hayes of Knoxville, TN, Taylor Barrineau, Bailey Braden, Riley Braden, Ayden Braden, all of Dyersburg, TN, Conner Marsh, Teagan Marsh, Carson Marsh, Wilder Marsh, Hunter Brogen, Lois Brogen, all of Thomasville, GA; siblings, Charles Barrineau (Kay) of Cairo, GA, Jack Barrineau (Caryl) of Dallas, TX, Janice Baty (Robert) of Attapulgus, GA; mother of his children, Nancy Barrineau of Dyersburg, TN; special friends, Michael and Gena Brogen Boyles of Thomasville, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, M. C. Barrineau and Ora Belle Barrineau; siblings, brothers, Archie Barrineau, Alton Barrineau; and sisters, Doris Watford, Betty Jean Poole.
