Thomas Lamar Pritchett
May 12, 1938 – February 18, 2024

Memorial services for Thomas Lamar Pritchett, 85, of Moultrie, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA.  Rev. Jimmy Voyles will officiate.  Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Mr. Pritchett passed away at his home on Sunday, February 18, 2024.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Cairo High School Class of 1956.

Mr. Pritchett was born on May 12, 1938, in Cairo, GA, to the late James Allen Pritchett and Daisy Belle Thomas Pritchett.  He served his country in United States Army Reserves.  On March 31, 1962, he married Shirley Boyette Pritchett, who survives.  He retired as an electrical engineer.  He was a member of the First Methodist Church in Moultrie.

Survivors include: his wife, Shirley B. Pritchett of Moultrie, GA; children, Dana Murphy (Calvin) of Moultrie, GA, Dusty Pritchett (Christina) of Moultrie, GA, Gabe Pritchett (Paula) of Richmond Hill, GA; son-in-law, David Chastain of Moultrie, GA; grandchildren, Thomas Asa Chastain of Tifton, GA, Emilee Caroline Chastain of Moultrie, GA, Audrey Reddick of Moultrie, GA, Cheyenne Alexis Randle (Ken) of Thornton, CO, Ethan Hawkins Pritchett of Moultrie, GA, Gabie P. Daniel (John) of Nashville, TN, Daniel Pritchett of Richmond Hill, GA, Vivianna Pritchett of Richmond Hill, GA, Alison Barnes (Brett) of Richmond Hill, GA; great-grandchildren, Beck Barnes, Remi Barnes, both of Richmond Hill, GA, Rosemary Randle, arriving in June 2024; and his best furry friend, Benji.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; his daughter, Traci Lynn Chastain; and sisters, Sybil J. Peters (Fred), Ethel “Candy” Cornelia Vawryk (Alex).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Pritchett’s memory to: American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or the Alzheimer’s Association.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home immediately following the service.
