Thomas Daniel Chason

Funeral services for Thomas Daniel Chason, 71, of Ochlocknee, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Ochlocknee Baptist Church, Ochlocknee, GA.  Rev. Billy Stephens, Jr., will officiate.  Interment will be in Barnetts Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Ochlocknee, GA.  Mr. Chason passed away at his home on Saturday, September 9, 2023.

Active pallbearers will be Daniel Chason, Randall Chason, Robert Donaldson, Walker Christie, Marcus Brinkley and Bo Wainwright.  Honorary pallbearers will be John Thompson, Al Turner, Johnny Wurst, Steve Wurst, Dale Chason, Beau Chason, Glen Miller and Daryl Lea.

Mr. Chason was born on January 29, 1952, in Thomasville, GA, to the late Thomas Leon Chason and Martha Evelyn Singletary Chason.  On April 16, 1983, he married Deborah Keller Chason, who survives.  Until his retirement, he was an insurance salesman.  He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: his wife, Deborah Keller Chason of Ochlocknee, GA; son, Daniel Lee Chason (Charlene) of Ochlocknee, GA; grandchildren, Cheyenne Elizabeth Chason, Beau Axel Chason, both of Ochlocknee, GA; brother, Dale Randall Chason of Thomasville, GA; sisters, Donna Lynne Chason, Jane C. Junker, both of Thomasville, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends at his home.
