Ronald Alan “Ronnie” Boyette
November 1, 1954 – January 18, 2021

Graveside funeral services for Ronald Alan “Ronnie” Boyette, 66, of Cairo, GA, are on Thursday, January 21, 2020, in Woodlawn Cemetery, Whigham, GA.  Pastor Johnny H. Moore will officiate.  Mr. Boyette passed away at his home on Monday, January 18, 2021.

Mr. Boyette was born on November 1, 1954, in Cairo, GA, to the late Casey G. Boyette and Ethel Bell Boyette.  On August 20, 1993, he married Susan Glover, who preceded him in death on March 29, 2013.  He was a worker – he began mowing yards in his teens and later was his father’s right- hand man at Boyette Oil on Highway 84 in Cairo.  At the time of his passing, he was employed at Smith Electric Motor Service where he was a leader in the Air Compressor Department for more than 25 years. He had a heart of gold and a love of family to match.  He was a wonderful cook and was famous for his Christmas fudge.  He was a Christian and was a member of Family Worship Center in Cairo.

Survivors include: children, Shawn Boyette (Missy) of Aurora, CO, Perry Boyette of Cairo, GA, Casey Mirick (Jason) of Thomasville, GA, Beth Sellars (Jay) of Cairo, GA, Katie Alred (Cody) of St. Augustine, FL; grandchildren, Allyson Mirick, Kadyn Mirick, both of Thomasville, GA, Ethan Hamilton, Austin Sellars, both of Cairo, GA, Duncan Sellars, Becky Sellars, Nick Sellars, all of Thomasville, GA; sisters, Rita Smith of Cairo, GA, Rhonda English (Allen) of Cairo, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; wife; and a granddaughter, Kaydence Sellars.
