Ramona Annette Ansley

Funeral services for Ramona Annette Ansley, 88, of Cairo, GA, are at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Pine Park Baptist Church, Cairo, GA. Rev. Brandon Smith and Rev. Steve Wooten will officiate. Services will conclude at the church. Private interment will be in Pleasant Grove Community Cemetery. Mrs. Ansley passed away at home on Thursday, November 13, 2025.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jamie Elkins, Shawn Dean, Max Allen, Jerry Buffington, Bill Cox and Arnold Pearson.

Mrs. Ansley was born on January 7, 1937, in Cairo, GA, to the late Clower Eugene McAlvin and Lillie Mae Barrett McAlvin. On August 3, 1953, she married Wilbert I. Ansley, who preceded her in death on February 15, 1996. They were married for 42 years. She was the office manager with Stallings Motors Inc. in Cairo. Later she was an accountant with Dean Automotive Inc. in Bainbridge. She was a devoted Christian at Pine Park Baptist Church. Ramona was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Survivors include: her children, Greg Ansley of Atlanta, GA, Steve Ansley (Marie) of Sneads, FL, and Susan A. Stuckey (Bobby) of Whigham, GA; grandchildren, Ashley S. Hurst (Bert) of Ochlocknee, GA, Ansley Stuckey of Whigham, GA, Lauren Wyrobeck (Sam) of Atlanta, GA; great grandchildren; Ellie Hurst, June Stuckey, Lilith Wyrobeck, Wesley Wyrobeck; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Eugene and Lillie Mae McAlvin; and her husband, Wilbert Ansley; and a sister, Sandra Bryant.

The family will receive friends at Pine Park Baptist Church immediately following the funeral service.
