Memorial services for Perry Alexander Keyton, Sr., 68, of Cairo, GA, are at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Clark Funeral Chapel with committal at Barber Park baseball fields, Cairo, GA. Mr. Keyton passed away at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital on Saturday, June 6, 2026, after a short battle with cancer.
Mr. Keyton was born on April 14, 1958, in Thomasville, GA, to the late John G. Keyton, Jr. and Elizabeth Stegall Keyton. Perry was an outstanding athlete who played on the Thomasville High School football team that won the National Championship and State Championship in 1974. Perry loved playing softball and being part of the recreation community well into his adult years. Until his last day, he was an avid Georgia Bulldogs Fan. He worked in multiple jobs before his retirement as a delivery driver for the Russell Tire Company.
Survivors include: his children, Perry A Keyton, Jr. of Cairo, GA, Stephanie Keyton Sauls (Turner) of Scooterville, GA; grandchildren, Emilyn, Ellasyn, Remy, Rafe and Renley of Scooterville, GA; sister, Connie Keyton (Allen) of Winterville, GA; cousins, Libby Marshall of Pelham, GA, Mike Stegall of Live Oak, FL, Lori Echols of Miramar Beach, FL; his extended family, Jeremy Allen (Jessica), and Swain of Guyton, GA, Jeff May (Courtney) and Jacob, Jackson and Abbey, of Pelham, GA, Sandy May of Tampa, FL, Ricky and Jean Worsham of Camilla, GA.
