Patsy Schafer
June 2, 1953 – January 13, 2022

Patricia Ann Griner “Patsy” Schafer, 68, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022, in Cairo, GA.

Ms. Schafer was born on June 2, 1953, in Grady County, GA, to Clara M. Bell Griner and the late Wesley Jack Griner.  She worked in the Administration Offices of Georgia Pines where she retired after 30 years.

Funeral services are at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 16, 2022, at Family Worship Center, Cairo, GA.  Pastor Johnny H. Moore will officiate.  The family will receive friends at Family Worship Family on Sunday, January 16, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.  Services will conclude at the church.  Private interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Survivors include a son, Jason W. Schafer (Eddie) of Corryton, TN; granddaughters, Fallyn and Baylee Schafer of Cairo; mother, Clara M. Griner of Cairo, GA; and a special sister, Pam B. Roberts.

She was preceded in death by a son, Christopher L. Schafer; father, Jack Griner; and a sister, Jeannie Griner.
