Milladeen Harvell Cook

Funeral services for Milladeen Harvell Cook, 88, of Calvary, GA, are at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 9, 2018, at Pine Hill Baptist Church, Cairo, GA. Rev. Charles Parker and Rev. Tommy Willis will officiate. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery, Havana, FL. Mrs. Cook passed away at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home in Pelham, GA, on February 5, 2018.

Active pallbearers will be Ray Gainey, Sonny Lee, Mark Stephens, Wendell Cannon, Jerry Lee, John Sessions, Tyler Lee and Herman Ready. Honorary pallbearers will be the Pine Hill Adult 1 and Adult 2 Sunday School Classes and Albert Sessions.

Mrs. Cook was born on November 30, 1929, in Quincy, FL, to the late Green Berry Harvell and Lois Andrews Harvell. On April 12,1947, she married Hilmon Henry Cook, who preceded her in death on June 17, 2017. She was a retired seamstress and a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include: sons, Michael Cook (Deanie) of Rio Linda, CA, Rodney Cook (Susan) of Whigham, GA; daughter, Norma Chick (Jim) of Calvary, GA; grandchildren, Michael Cook (Cathralynn) of Sacramento, CA, Mark Cook (Kim) of Auburn, CA, Michelle Cook of Austin, TX, Kim Taylor (Ben) of Tallahassee, FL, Chelsea Chick of Tallahassee, FL; and great-grandchildren, Allison Cook of Sacramento, CA, Oliver Cook of Auburn, CA, Eleanor Cook of Auburn, CA, Caylee Taylor of Tallahassee, FL, Ava Taylor of Tallahassee, FL, Drystan Taylor of Tallahassee, FL.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; and brothers, Green Berry Harvell, Jr., Floyd Harvell, Bobby Harvell.

The family will receive friends at Pine Hill Baptist Church on Friday, February 9, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
