Linda Sue Ratliff VanSant June 5, 1949 – July 29, 2025

Linda Sue Ratliff VanSant, 76, of Calvary, GA, passed away at her home on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. The family will have a private memorial service at a later time.

Mrs. Vansant was born on June 5, 1949, in Martin, KY, to the late James Ratliff and Ellen Click Ratliff. On November 11, 1968, she married Howard VanSant. They have been married for over 56 years. She retired as a sales agent with the insurance industry. Later she served as a private caregiver.

Survivors include: her husband, Howard VanSant of Calvary, GA; sons, Jason Donald Smith (Ramona) of Calvary, GA, James David Hamilton (Rhonda) of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Anthony James Smith, Zoe Carmalyn Smith, both of Calvary, GA, Sara Hamilton Springer (Bryan) of Louisville, KY; great-grandchild, Harper Irene Springer of Louisville, KY; one brother and two sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents.
