Kathy Conn Hardwick, 64, of Cairo, GA, passed away at Colquitt Regional Medical Center in Moultrie, GA, on Saturday, May 18, 2025. The family will have a memorial service at a later time.

Mrs. Hardwick was born on October 18, 1960, in Daytona, FL, to the late Robbins L. Conn, Jr. and Amelia Auvil Filmore. On Dec. 9, 2000, she married James Dale Hardwick, who preceded her in death on August 29, 2019.

Survivors include: children, Jeffrey R. Weatherford (Erin) of Johnson City, TN and Janelle J. Weatherford of Thomasville, GA; grandchildren, Jeffrey R. Weatherford, Jr. (Peyten) of Climax, GA, Ryan J. Weatherford, Jewell Weatherford, Eriabella Weatherford of Johnson City, TN, & Jaylee Kennedy of Thomasville, GA; great-grandson, Jeffrey Creed Weatherford; and a sister, Sandra Dills (Mick) of Cullowhee, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, James D. Hardwick; her son, Justin M. Weatherford; and brothers, Robert B. Conn & Samuel V. Filmore.
