James was born on March 7, 1990, in Cairo, GA, to James Edward “Eddie” Stuckey and Donna Maxwell Stuckey. From that moment, he was on the go and never stopped. James was a hard worker at a very young age. He loved running heavy machinery, a trait he learned from his Uncle Wayne.  He started working for Garland Farms around the age of 11. That was where his strong work ethic was developed. He loved the Garland’s dearly. He later held a long career as a lineman before coming home to work alongside his father at Stuckey Safety Service. He loved working with his dad, although they were far too much alike sometimes. He was a devoted firefighter at the Reno Volunteer Fire Department. He had a huge heart and was always there to help his family and neighbors. The community of Reno always held a special place in his heart. On May 18, 2018, he married Austin Christina Sapp Stuckey, who survives. He was a wonderful husband and father to his 2 amazing sons and his beautiful daughter (“daddy’s duckling”). He loved to take them on boat rides, buggy rides, or for “learning” working down at the barn and on the tractor. He made sure to make life fun for not only his family, but anyone he came in contact with. As he used to say, He was one of a kind, and we will never find another like him. He will be forever missed, but he will be carried in our hearts.
