Inez Dollar Godwin

Funeral services for Inez Dollar Godwin, 93, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 15, 2016, at Pine Level Baptist Church, Cairo, GA. Rev. Jim Weaver will officiate. Interment will be in Pine Level Baptist Church Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mrs. Godwin passed away at the Mitchell Convalescent Center in Camilla, GA, on Friday, February 12, 2016.

Active pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

Mrs. Godwin was born on July 23, 1922, in Cairo, GA, to the late Jeff Dollar and Myrtie Bryant Dollar. On October 22, 1960, she married Carroll Godwin, who preceded her in death on September 28, 2005. She was a homemaker and a member of Pine Level Baptist Church.

Survivors include: daughters, Becky Baggett (Johnny) of Pelham, GA, Clara Nell Morgan of Cairo, GA, Kay Wimberly Norton of Cairo, GA; son, J. D. Norton (Mary) of Cairo, GA; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Eurice Lee Harrison of Cairo, GA, Iris Rebecca Harrison of Cairo, GA.

She was preceded in death by: parents; husband; son, Bascom Sonny Norton; son-in-law, Aubrey Morgan; and a grandson, William Carroll Bryan.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Sunday, February 14, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
