Mr. Howard L. Johnson, 79, passed away at Archbold Living in Pelham, GA, on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. There are no services planned at this time.

Mr. Johnson was born on August 4, 1946, in Cairo, GA, to the late George and Mildred Johnson. On November 20, 1981, he married Leslie Archer Johnson. They have been married 43 years. He retired from the textile industry.

Survivors include: his wife, Leslie Johnson of Pelham, GA; daughter Amanda Johnson of Columbus, GA; sisters, Louise H. Mitchell of Cairo, GA, Brenda J. Fisher of Athens, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Lilly Johnson, and brother, Royce Johnson, Sr.
