Guy Harrell Dollar
July 15, 1968 – May 29, 2025

Guy Harrell Dollar, 56, went to his heavenly home on May 29, 2025, in Marietta, Georgia. Born to Jerry Franklin Dollar and Olief Mae Harrell on July 15, 1968, Guy dedicated his life to the land, working as a peanut and cotton farmer, a testament to his resilience and tireless work ethic.
Guy graduated from Cairo High School and soon after married the love of his life, Jenny. Later, he fully embraced farming, a career that not only defined his professional life but also mirrored his character: robust, enduring, and deeply rooted in the community. He was a beloved and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who cherished spending time with his family, especially planting peanuts and playing with his granddaughter Charlie, whom he loved immensely.
He is survived by his wife, Jenny Dollar; sons, Josh Dollar (Heather) and Dalton Dollar; granddaughter, Charlotte Dollar; brothers, Edmond Dollar (Marsha) and John Dollar; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Olief and Jerry Dollar.
His legacy will continue to grow, much like the crops he nurtured, in the hearts of those he loved and the soil he cherished.
A service to celebrate Guy’s life will be held at Providence Baptist Church, Whigham, GA, on Monday, June 2, 2025, at 3:30 p.m.
The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Sunday, June 1, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
