Funeral services for Frank R. Johnson, 90, of Tallahassee, FL, are at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 6, 2018, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. Christy Bandy will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Whigham, GA. Mr. Johnson passed away at his son’s home in Tallahassee, FL, on Wednesday, October 3, 2018.

Mr. Johnson was born on July 29, 1928, in Whigham, GA, to the late John Robinson Johnson and Mattie Lou Davis Johnson. He was a professional nurseryman and worked with Everglades Nursey Company. He was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include: his wife, Bonnie Johnson of Ft. Myers, FL; son, Larry Johnson (Pamela) of Tallahassee, FL; grandsons, Chris Johnson, John Johnson, both of Tallahassee, FL; great-grandchildren, Megan Johnson, John Johnson, Jr., both of Tallahassee, FL; sister, Virginia Skipper of Ft. Myers, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; his first wife, Margaret Bembry Johnson; son, Frankie Johnson; sisters, Helen Hendry, Eunice Harrison, Bessie Carson; and brothers, Paul Johnson, R. G. Johnson.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home immediately following the funeral service.
