Donna Jean Merrier Crosby

Donna Jean Merrier Crosby, 83, of Cairo, GA, passed away at her home on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Private interment will be in White Church Cemetery in Woodville, FL. No services are planned at this time.

Mrs. Crosby was born on August 6, 1942, in Douglas, GA, to the late Lewis Eugene Merrier and Alice Seymore Merrier. On December 21, 1959, she married Paul Herbert Crosby, Sr., who preceded her in death on March 7, 2014. Until her retirement, she was self-employed with Crosby Pools. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Survivors include: son, Jason Crosby of Tallahassee, FL; daughters, Jeanna Moore (Ervin) of Woodville, FL, Deanna Dodson (Ron) of Woodville, FL, Rebekah Crosby of Whigham, GA; grandchildren, Abrey Warr (Frankie) of Ochlocknee, GA, Amanda Bailey (Matt) of Tallahassee, FL, Allen Dodson (Kimberly) of Woodville, FL, Robert Moore (Tessa) of Woodville, FL, William Moore of Woodville, FL, Jeremy Crosby (Kaley) of Thomasville, GA, Haven Day of Whigham, GA; great-grandchildren, Tyler Bailey of Tallahassee, FL, Trevor Bailey of Tallahassee, FL, Hayden Moore of Woodville, FL, Kylie Moore of Woodville, FL, Sophia Dodson of Woodville, FL, Violet Warr of Ochlocknee, GA, Easton Crosby, Noah Crosby, both of Thomasville, GA; half-brother, Danny O’Berry (Darlene) of Kingsland, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Lewis and Alice Merrier; her husband, Paul Herbert Crosby, Sr.; son, Paul Crosby, Jr.; grandsons, Michael Moore, Jared Moore; daughter-in-law, Phyllis Blewett Crosby; and nine brothers and sisters.
