Charles Rondel Bosely
October 5, 1937 – May 10, 2025

Charles Rondal Bosely (Ron, Dad, or Poppy to most) of Cairo, GA, was born on October 5, 1937. He peacefully passed Saturday, May 10, 2025, at home. The funeral will be Sunday, May 25th, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Thomasville, GA.
Ron was born in Falls Mill, West Virginia to his parents, James Blaine Bosely and Genevieve Whitzel. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Roland and Dennis Bosely. He is survived by one brother, Darrell (Helen) Bosely, his wife, Mercedes and their six children, six grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Ron married Dee on June 11, 1977. Together they raised their 6 children, James Jay Bosely (Gail Bosely), Tia Hardy, Rondal Bosely, Joshua Bosely (Laura Bosely), Jodie Clark (Joshua Clark), and Jazmyn Petit-Frere (Moise Petit-Frere). He often called them his “half a tribe” as he is anticipating having the other half in the new world. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Marissa & Bryan Bosely, India & Kal-el Hardy, Evan & Elijah Walker, Asher & Vivianna Petit-Frere, two great grandchildren, Liam & Bruce Ousley and a host of nieces and nephews.
Ron met his wife Dee in the Kingdom Hall in Marietta Ohio, where they started a life of adventure and joy that continued for over 48 years. Their marriage was filled with laughter, travel and jokes. He took his family on many adventures while always keeping the advice of Matthew 6:33 close to heart. He always did his best to make sure his life was centered around his service to his God, Jehovah. This he fulfilled by offering 57 years to the regular full-time ministry.
Everyone knew him as Ron or dad as his home was always open and his very character was one of a hospitable nature. Ron was an overall happy individual which was visible as he always carried a smile. He had the ability to keep you in stiches and laughing and he had a huge repertoire of jokes and riddles. He will be missed. His family and spiritual family look forward to seeing him soon, young and happy in the resurrection.
