Carlton Timothy “C.T.” Bracewell
March 12, 1937 – January 8, 2023

Graveside funeral services for Carlton Timothy “C.T.” Bracewell, 85, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2023, in Long Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Rev. Rod Brinkley and Rev. Jeff Ezell will officiate.  Mr. Bracewell passed away at Mitchell Convalescent Center in Camilla, GA on Sunday, January 8, 2023.

Mr. Bracewell was born on March 12, 1937, in Donalsonville, GA, to the late Cecil Bracewell and Ruby Williams Bracewell.  On Oct. 26, 1957, he married Ann Robinson Bracewell, who survives.  C.T. was a business owner in Cairo and later worked with American General Insurance.  He was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church.

Survivors include: his wife of 65 years, Ann Bracewell of Cairo, GA; children, Tim Bracewell (Becky) of Cairo, GA, Sherry Dorsey (Chris) of Cairo, GA, Jeffery Bracewell (Theresa) of Colonial Heights, VA; grandchildren, Blair Bracewell (John), Anna Dorsey, Matthew Dorsey, Jeffery Bracewell, Jr. (Caitlyn), Sarah Bracewell; great-grandchildren, Joshua Timothy Thomas, Paisleigh Bracewell, Maggie Bracewell.

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter, Angela Bracewell; and his brothers, his twin brother, Arlton Bracewell, Ray Bracewell, and Milton Bracewell.
