Bonial Dee Vickers

Bonial Dee Vickers, 95, of Whigham GA, peacefully passed away on December 8, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was a dedicated father, and a passionate farmer, leaving behind a legacy rooted in love and the land he meticulously cared for.

He was born in Whigham, GA on January 4, 1930. Bonial spent his life embodying the values of hard work, integrity, and devotion to his family. From a young age, he found joy in farming, tending livestock and his fields with a strong, steady hand and a deep respect for nature’s rhythms. His farm was more than a business; it was his sanctuary and a place he taught his children and grandchild the importance of patience, resilience, and reaping what you sow.

Above all else, Bonial cherished his role as a father, Grandpa and Great PaPa. He was a constant source of support, wisdom and unwavering love for his four children, Dee, Shaw, Dennis and Jill; grandchildren, Randall, Kelly and Casey; great grands, Blake, Miller and Marley Kate. He took immense pride in their accomplishments and was happiest when spending time with his family, whether working alongside them on the farm, basketball court, or simply enjoying a quiet evening together. His warm smile, kind eyes and gentle guidance will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Bonial is survived by: his beloved children, Dee Worthington (Hal) of Brinson, GA, Dennis Vickers of Whigham, GA and Jill Earnest of Donalsonville, GA; grandchildren, Randall Earnest (Chelsy) of Brinson, GA, Kelly Parramore of Thomasville, GA, Casey Vickers of Whigham, GA; great grandkids, Blake Earnest of Marine Naval Station, Pensacola, FL, Miller and Marley Kate of Thomasville, GA.

He is preceded in death by: his devoted wife of 68 years, Marlene Shirley Vickers; his parents, Delmar and Cleo Vickers; son and daughter in law, Shaw and Cynthia Vickers; family members, Eldrige Vickers, Hayden Vickers, Onedia Shepard, Doris Vickers and James Vickers; with one living sibling, Gene Vickers of Donalsonville, GA.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel, Cairo, GA. Rev. Daniel Castro will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. Services will conclude at the chapel.
