Annie Ruth Fiskus

Funeral services for Annie Ruth Fiskus, 88, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 29, 2025, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. Ron McCaskill will officiate. Interment will be in the Cairo Cemetery. Ms. Fiskus passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Saturday, May 24, 2025.

Active pallbearers will be Tom Fiskus, Chuck Fiskus, Woody Biggs, Dr. Thomas Ragsdale and Trent Stewart.

Ms. Fiskus was born on December 20, 1936, in Cairo, GA, to the late Charles “Charlie” Fiskus and Nelli Kate Smith Fiskus. She retired as a teacher.

Survivors include a host of loving nieces and nephews and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Rebecca Fiskus, Tom Fiskus, Bobby Fiskus and Ray Fiskus.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Ms. Fiskus’ memory to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home immediately following the funeral service.
