Funeral services for Annie Marie Beasley Gainous, 89, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Pine Level Baptist Church, Cairo, GA. Rev. Will Cook will officiate. Services will conclude in the church. Private interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Gainous passed away at Archbold Living in Cairo, GA, on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

Honorary pallbearers will be Glen Hester, Neil Hester, Jimmy Beasley, Mike Beasley, Robert Beasley and Marcus Beasley.

Mrs. Gainous was born on March 20, 1937, in Midland City, AL, to the late Buford Burl Beasley and Leon Covington Beasley. On September 1, 1956, she married Roger Gainous, Sr., who preceded her in death on July 28, 2019. She retired as a librarian from the Roddenbery Memorial Library. She was a member of Pine Level Baptist Church.

Survivors include: sons, Roger Gainous, Jr. (Vickie) of Cairo, GA, Leon Gainous (Kim) of Cairo, GA, Barry Gainous (Sherry) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Leslie Prince (Heath) of Cairo, GA, Jeremy Gainous (Brianna) of Bainbridge, GA, Gayla Marsh (Brandon) of Cairo, GA, Garrett Gainous of Cairo, GA, Josh Newton (Courtney) of Hartford, AL ; great-grandchildren, Caroline Daniels (Dakota), Clara Prince, Aubree Gainous, Alex Gainous, AveryKate Gainous, Connor Prince and Braxton Newton; great-great-grandchild, Blakely Faith Marie Daniel; sister-in-law, Mandy Beasley of Thomasville, GA; her furry companion, Bella; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by: parents; husband; and her 4 brothers, Harold, Leonard, Bobby and Leslie.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Gainous’ memory to: Archbold Hospice.

The family will receive friends at Pine Level Baptist Church immediately following the service.
