Memorial services for Michael Shannon Whigham, 57, of Thomasville, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 2, 2026, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. Darell Roberts will officiate. Services will conclude in the chapel. Private interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mr. Whigham passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Friday, October 30, 2026.

Mr. Whigham was born on August 22, 1969, in Thomasville, GA, to James LeVerne Whigham and the late LuCretia Chason Whigham. He was a graduate of Brookwood High School and received his college degree in business administration and management from Valdosta State University. On October 26, 2021, he married Michelle Roberts. He was employed with Archbold Memorial Hospital as a surgery scheduler.

Survivors include: his wife, Michelle Whigham of Thomasville, GA; children, Dillon Whigham of San Diego, CA, Daria Bair (Michael) of Denver, CO; step-children, Maddax Hutchinson of Meigs, GA, Raina Hutchinson of Meigs, GA; his father, James LeVerne Whigham of Cairo, GA; sister, Lesli Jeter (Patrick) of Belton, KY; uncle, Bobby Whigham (Margie) of Ridge Manor, FL; and a host of extended family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucretia Chason Whigham.
