Mark Anthony Womble
November 10, 1949 – October 11, 2026

Mark Anthony Womble, 76, of Morris, GA, passed away at the Willson Hospice House in Albany, GA, on Sunday, October 11, 2026. The family will have a Celebration Of Life at a later time.

Mr. Womble was born on November 10, 1949, in Cairo, GA, to the late Lawrence Womble and May Bell Halstead Womble. He was a member of the Cairo High School Class of 1969. He served his country with the United States Navy. He was a truck driver with Paschal Trucking. For the past several years he was employed by Bassmaster as a CTA. Mark was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing and riding his 4-wheeler with his niece, Kristen Bettison. He loved spending time with his grandsons.

Survivors include: his daughter, Heather Sellers of Tallahassee, FL; grandsons, Dylan Andrew Sellers, Mark Dalton Sellers, both of Tallahassee, FL; siblings, Jerry Cochran of Warner Robins, GA, Earl Womble (Marie) of Tallahassee, FL, Jo Ann Long (Jim) of Barwick, GA; special nephew, Larry Bettison (Theresa) of Morris, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Lawrence and May Bell Womble; wife, Jamie Lynn Dolen Womble; and his siblings, Jimmy Womble, Peggy Bettison, Buck Womble.
