Steven Lawrence Bible, 46, of Calvary, GA, passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Monday, October 5, 2026. Funeral Services will be held at Clark Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, October 9, 2026. Pastor Wade Moran will officiate. Interment will be in Piedmont Cemetery, Calvary, GA.

Active pallbearers will be William Reeve, Donnie Roland, James Ballangee, Eric Sawyer and Johnny Massey

Mr. Bible was born on September 29, 1980, in Tallahassee, FL, to Larry Bible and the late Joyce Tyre Bible. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Bible had a passion for fixing things and worked as an airplane mechanic for many years. He was a loving father to three beautiful children. They were his world. Steven was a lover of all things fun. He believed in standing for what was right and always rooted for the underdog. There was nothing that he would not do for the people that he loved. To Steven family was deeper than blood and his loyalty to his family was solid. There was never a place where he couldn’t light up the room, he never failed to bring a smile to the faces of people that were around him. He will be deeply missed forever.

Survivors include: his children, Shelbie Joyce Bible of Mobile, AL, Jacob Lawson Bible of Whigham, GA, Annslee Grace Bible of Whigham, GA; father, Larry Bible of Calvary, GA; a brother, Mark Bible of California, and a loving friend, Jamie Alday, of Whigham, GA.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Joyce Bible and a brother, Billy Maiwald.
