Memorial services for Eunice Margaret Brown Miller, 93, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Pine Level Baptist Church, Cairo, GA. Rev. Jim Weaver and Rev. Will Cook will officiate. Mrs. Miller passed away peacefully at Archbold Living in Cairo, GA, on Thursday, July 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Mrs. Miller was born on April 11, 1933, in Quincy, FL, to the late Homer Brice Brown and Allie Bernice Singletary Brown. She married Howard Oates, who preceded her in death on May 2, 1972. She later married John Whitney Miller, who also preceded her in death on April 19, 2006. Margaret worked in retail sales for many years. She worked with Belk’s for over 20 years and later with Wal-Mart for over 13 years. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: her children, Mike Oates (Gloria) of Prattville, AL, Wayne Oates (Susie) of Cairo, GA, Wanda Harrison (Neal) of Cairo, GA, Linda Johnson (George) of Cairo, GA; stepchildren, Pamela Miller, Randy Miller, Lyle Miller; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; siblings, Randy Brown (Florence) of Whigham, GA, Bill Brown of Woodville, FL, Roy Brown (Cynthia) of Crawfordville, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husbands; stepdaughter, Tamara Miller; and a sister, Ruby Hammett.

The family will receive friends at Pine Level Baptist Church immediately following the memorial service.
