Funeral services for Evelyn Adkins Lashley, 93, of Ochlocknee, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 8, 2026, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Private interment will be in Union Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Pelham, GA. Mrs. Lashley passed away at Archbold Living in Cairo, on Monday, May 4, 2026.

Mrs. Lashley was born on January 17, 1933, in Cairo, GA, to the late Oscar Adkins and Lucy Newsome Adkins. She retired as a certified nursing assistant.

Survivors include: her sons, Earl Lashley of Ochlocknee, GA, James Lashley (Linda) of Ochlocknee, GA, Frank Lashley (Janice) of Ochlocknee, GA, Joe Lashley of Brinson, GA, Kenneth Lashley of Ochlocknee, GA, Curtis Lashley (Roni) of Whigham, GA; 13 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family

She was preceded in death by: her parents; two sons, Keith Lashley and Carl Lashley; and two grandchildren. Evelyn was the last of her eight brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home immediately following the service.
