Kristie Baggett Freeman

Kristie Baggett Freeman, 48, of Leesburg, GA, passed away at Wynfield Park Health & Rehabilitation in Albany, GA, on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. She will be interred in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Cairo, GA. The family will have a memorial service at a later date.

Ms. Freeman was born on October 15, 1977, in Tallahassee, FL, to the late Roy Kenneth Baggett and Delores Cannon Baggett, who survives. She worked as a clerk and bookkeeper.

Survivors include: her sons, Mathew Freeman (Kathryn) of Adel, GA, Nathan Freeman (Sierra) of Thomasville, GA; grandchildren, Sofia Guenthner, Aria Kringles, Devon Kringles and Vinny Kringles; her mother, Delores C. Baggett of Albany, GA; sisters, Darlene B. Wingler (Bob) of Dawson, GA, April Lasseter (Don) of Leesburg, GA; and nephews, McKenzie Burney and Garrett Lasseter.

She was preceded in death by: her grandparents, Robert Lee Cannon and LaRue Whitfield Cannon, William Franklin Baggett and Dorsey Novella Gwaltney Baggett; and her father, Roy Kenneth Baggett.
