Robert Timothy “Timmy” Waldrop
April 28, 1960 – October 22, 2025

Robert Timothy “Timmy” Waldrop, 65, of Whigham, GA, passed away at Legacy Village at Plantation Manor in Thomasville, GA, on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. The family will have a private service and “Timmy” will be interred with his parents in Woodlawn Cemetery, Whigham, GA. No public services are planned.

Mr. Waldrop was born on April 28, 1960, in Ft. Rucker, AL, to the late Donald L. Waldrop, Sr. and Elinor Willis Waldrop. He retired as a machinist from the Torrington Company. He had a great love for music and truly enjoyed being with his family.

Survivors include: his very special sister, Teresa Waldrop of Whigham, GA; nieces, Hannah Melton (David) of Cairo, GA, Heidi Waldrop (Chris) of Whigham, GA; nephew, Eddie Dixon (Krista) of Thomasville, GA; great-nieces and great-nephews, Ciara, Meagan, Scott Thomas, James, Erin, Jesse, Breanna, Dekin, Dane, Man Man, Landon and Reid; and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, Ava, Rhylee, Ella, Maitlyn, Sawyer, Waylon, Josey, Eastyn Lee and Westyn Lee.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; a sister, Nancy Waldrop Sartin; and a brother, Donnie Waldrop, Jr.

The family wants to extend their deepest heartfelt thanks and love to Latesha Rooks “Big MaMa” and her staff at Legacy Village in Thomasville for their love, care, and kindness given to “Timmy.”
