John Randall “Randy” Holton
January 10, 1950 – July 31, 2025

John Randall “Randy” Holton, 75, of Cairo, GA, passed away at his home on Thursday, July 31, 2025. The family will have a private interment on the family farm. Rev. Johnny Burdick will officiate.

Mr. Holton was born on January 10, 1950, in Cairo, GA, to the late John Roy Holton and Nina Widner Holton. He was a member of the Cairo High School Class of 1968. He served his country in the Army National Reserves. On Nov. 8, 1971, he married Judy Stokes Holton; and they have been married for over 53 years. He was a logger and land developer. He was a board member of the United National Bank in Cairo. He was a long-time member of Midway Baptist Church.

Survivors include: his wife, Judy Holton of Cairo, GA; daughter, Angie Scarbrough (Jimmie) of Cairo, GA; and a grandson, Hunter Holton Scarbrough of Cairo, GA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Roy and Nina Holton; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald and Evelyn Stokes; and his sister-in-law, Gloria Miller.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Holton’s memory to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

The family will receive friends at his home.
