Joseph Norman Touchet

Funeral services for Joseph Norman Touchet, 83, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 23, 2015, at Midway Baptist Church, Cairo, GA. Rev. Johnny Burdick will officiate. Services will conclude at the church. Private interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mr. Touchet passed away at Grady General Hospital in Cairo, GA, on Monday, October 19, 2015.

Active pallbearers will be Dean Robertson, Wade Robertson, Dudley Spence, Stewart Spence, Bill Gerber, Louis Randazzo, Jr. and Louis Randazzo, III.

Mr. Touchet was born on December 12, 1931, in Duson, LA, to the late Louis Touchet and Mary Hutchinson Touchet. He served his country in the U. S. Army. On November 10, 1979, he married Sarah Robertson Touchet, who survives. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church.

Dorman of Cairo, GA, Kandace A. Hobbs of Thomasville, GA, Kristine N. Murphy (Kevin) of Madison, GA, Dudley Spence of Madison, GA, Stewart Spence of Valdosta, GA, Brian Barnes (Melissa) of Meigs, GA, Brandyn Carver of Florida, Michele R. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, October 22, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
