Emmett Carroll “Buddy” Harrison, Jr., 59, of Calvary, GA, passed away at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Tallahassee, FL, on Wednesday, March 25, 2020. Memorial services will be announced later.

Mr. Harrison was born on November 3, 1960, in Tallahassee, FL, to the late Emmett Carroll Harrison and Catherine Arrington Hewett of Monticello, FL, who survives. Mr. Harrison was a sales representative with WFSU Public Media. Buddy was passionate about the outdoors. His weekends consisted of hunting deer on his family farm, fishing the flats out of the Econfina River as well as buggy rides on the farm with his grandchildren. He was also a fan of all sports, especially FSU football. He was a dedicated and loving father and grandfather.

Survivors include: sons, Mitchell Harrison (Lesley) of Tallahassee, FL, Tyler Harrison (Laurie) of Calvary, GA; grandchildren, Hadley Harrison and Hudson Harrison; mother, Catherine Hewett of Monticello, FL; brother, Tommy Harrison (Tammy) of Tallahassee, FL; and a sister, Catherine Hamrick (Rusty) of Monticello, FL. He was preceded in death by his father.
