Graveside funeral services for Connie Jeanette Ezell Sellars, 64, of Cairo, GA, are at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 25, 2021, in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Rev. Greg Hester and Rev. Paul Womack will officiate.  Mrs. Sellars passed away at Grady General Hospital in Cairo, GA, on Thursday, August 19, 2021.

Mrs. Sellars was born on September 6, 1956, in Cairo, GA, to the late Dewitt Ezell and Frances Joyner Ezell.  On October 25, 1997, she married Durwood Sellars, who survives.  She was a school lunchroom worker with Eastside Elementary School in Grady County.  She was a Christian and a member of the Full Gospel Chapel in Cairo.  Connie was a kind and loving person that made everyone feel bright and cheerful with her big, beautiful smile.  She always thought of others before herself, and genuinely cared for everyone she met.  She was a hard worker, stubborn, and didn’t listen well to others.  Connie is flying high with the angels now watching over all of us.
