Funeral services for Annie Helen Calhoun, 75, of Bainbridge, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at Trinity Primitive Baptist Church, Whigham, GA. Elder Franklin Bryant and Elder Gordon Smith will officiate. Interment will be in Trinity Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Calhoun passed away at her home in Decatur County, GA, on Sunday morning, May 29, 2016.

Active pallbearers will be Lavon Connell, Donald Connell, Greg Ponder, Harley Ponder, Sammy Perkins and Lafe Perkins.

Mrs. Calhoun was born on December 3, 1940, in Whigham, GA, to the late Gilbert Beebe Hollingsworth and Vergie Willis Hollingsworth. On July 8, 1961, she married Zack Calhoun, who survives. She worked with several banks and finance companies in her career. Helen loved to play canasta card games with her friends and spend time with her family in the mountains. She was a devoted member of Trinity Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors include: husband, Zack Calhoun of Bainbridge, GA: children, Hunter Calhoun (Lisa) of Bainbridge, GA; Brian K. Calhoun (Patty) of Bainbridge, GA; grandchildren, Melissa Boyett (Lyle) of Bainbridge, GA, Heather Vickers (Kyle) of Iron City, GA, Michaela Calhoun, Emily Calhoun, Maegan Calhoun, all of Bainbridge, GA; great-grandchildren, Luke Boyett, Annlee Boyett, both of Bainbridge, GA, Avery Vickers, Sawyer Faye Vickers, both of Iron City, GA; sisters, Winnie Prince of Cairo, GA, Carolyn Hollingsworth of Bainbridge, GA; brother, Kenneth Hollingsworth of Cairo, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by parents: brothers, G. B. Hollingsworth, Jr., Kedar W. Hollingsworth, Sr., W. Glenn Hollingsworth, Wayne Hollingsworth and Leverne Hollingsworth; and a sister, Mary Frances H. Womble.

The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service.
