Tonya Kay Majors, 47, of Cairo, GA, passed away at Grady General Hospital in Cairo, GA, on Wednesday afternoon, August 16, 2017. A private family memorial service will be held at a later time.

Ms. Majors was born on September 18, 1969, in Cairo, GA, to Randy Newman and Jana Majors Cain. She worked at Monrovia Nurseries and Wal-Mart. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church of Cairo.

Survivors include: children, Tiffany Boyington (William) of Augusta, GA, Amber Majors of Powder Springs, GA, Bruce William Payne, II (Amber) of Inverness, FL, Amy Catherine Payne of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Alexia Jade Boyington of Augusta, GA, Jayce Allen Grant of Cairo, GA, Levi Payne, Wyatt Payne, both of Inverness, FL; mother, Jana Majors Cain (Larry) of Cairo, GA; father, Randy Newman (Peggy) of Dothan, AL; brother, William Jeffery Newman (Erin) of Deland, FL; nieces and nephews, Alexandria Michelle Collins, Cody Collins, both of Cairo, GA, Reese Newman, Ella Newman, both of Apopka, FL, Andrew William Newman of Deland, FL.

She will be welcomed in Heaven by her grandparents, Nancy L. Majors, William Monroe Majors and Ijon N. Cain.
