Funeral services for Teresa Ann Edwards, 57, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 7, 2019, at Hilltop Bible Baptist Church, Cairo, GA. Bro. Jay Bentley will officiate. Interment will be in Mizpah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Pelham, GA. Mrs. Edwards passed away at her home in Cairo, GA, on March 3, 2019.

Active pallbearers will be Terry Atkinson, Dylan Carroll, Logan Carroll, Al Thomas, Tony Hartley and Michael Hartley.

Mrs. Edwards was born on April 1, 1961, in Cairo, GA, to the late Ralph Eugene Hartley and Inez Wilcox Hartley. She was married to Jerry Lee Edwards, who preceded her in death in May of 2013. She worked as a caregiver with nursing homes. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: her sons, Ben Edwards (Brooke) of Thomasville, GA, Roger Edwards (Joy) of New Orleans, LA; Eric Edwards (Alisa) of Crestview, FL; grandchildren, Mason Edwards, Aubrey Edwards, Ellora Edwards, Raelei Edwards, Azariah Jackson; special friend, A. J. Thomas of Cairo, GA; brothers, Tommy Hartley (Jo Ann) of Vada, GA, James Hartley (Corky) of Havana, FL, Randy Hartley (Agnes) of Pelham, GA; sister, Ann Bentley of Cairo, GA; brother-in-law, Randell D. Edwards, sister-in-law, Pauline A. Edwards of Crestview, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

The family will receive friends at Hilltop Bible Baptist Church on Thursday, March 7, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
