Funeral services for Jerry W. Lee, 73, of Cairo, GA, are at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Pine Hill Baptist Church, Cairo, GA. Rev. Charles Parker and Rev. Al Sessions will officiate. Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mr. Lee passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Thursday, June 14, 2018.

Active pallbearers will be Vic Lee, Tyler Lee, John Sessions, Jason Sessions, Gary Jones and Nat Higdon. Honorary pallbearers will be his Sunday School Class of Pine Hill Baptist Church.

Mr. Lee was born on December 17, 1944, in Cairo, GA, to the late Thomas Berry Lee and Laura Sessions Lee. He served his country in the National Guard. On June 18, 1966, he married Linda Vickers Lee, who survives. He was in warehouse operations with Ira Higdon Grocery Company. He was a devoted member of Pine Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include: wife, Linda Vickers Lee of Cairo, GA; children, Carla Henderson (Bill) of Valdosta, GA, Chuck Lee (April) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Palmer Henderson, Payton Henderson, both of Valdosta, GA, Stafford Lee, Hughston Lee, Jase Lee, all of Cairo, GA; sisters, Mary Ann Lee of Tallahassee, FL, Jackie Sessions of Tallahassee, FL; brothers, Wesley Lee (Kay) of Cairo, GA, Albert Sessions (Janie) of Tallahassee, FL, Lee Sessions (Sandra) of Cairo, GA, Sonny Lee (Natholyn) of Cairo, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; granddaughter, Maddie Lee; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Hugh and Gladys Vickers; and Granny Mert.

The family will receive friends at Pine Hill Baptist Church on Saturday, June 16, 2018, from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
