Eurice Dollar Harrison

Funeral services for Eurice Dollar Harrison, 92, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 21, 2016, at Pine Level Baptist Church, Cairo, GA. Rev. Jim Weaver will officiate. Services will conclude in the church. Private interment will be in Pine Level Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Harrison passed away at her home in Grady County, GA, on Tuesday morning, October 18, 2016.

Active pallbearers will be Peyton Tyler Harrison, Coleman Harrison, Jeremy Huskey, Jim West, Jeff Bearden and Cade West. Honorary pallbearers will be Donald Womble, Randall McGlamery, Gary Jones, Dewayne Davis and Lyndon Bruckerhoff.

Mrs. Harrison was born on October 8, 1924, in Cairo, GA, to the late John Jefferson Dollar and Myrtie Bryant Dollar. On March 14, 1944, she married Douglas Harrison, Sr., who preceded her in death on July 27, 1995. She was a homemaker. She was an Eastern Star Member and a member of Pine Level Baptist Church.

Survivors include: sister, Iris Harrison of Cairo, GA; nephews, J. D. Norton (Mary) of Cairo, GA, John Harrison (Jenny) of Cairo, GA, Danny Harrison (Debra) of Whigham, GA, Randy Harrison of Miami, FL, Kenneth Harrison of Miami, FL; nieces, Clara Nell Morgan of Cairo, GA, Becky Baggett (Johnny) of Pelham, GA, Barbara Garcia (Denmark) of Whigham, GA, Betty Huskey (Donald) of Watumpka, AL, Donna Hancock (Hollis) of Whigham, GA; brothers-in-law, James Harrison (Billy) of Whigham, GA, Bronwood Harrison (Debbie) of Lynn Haven, FL; great-nieces and nephews, Jim West (Windi) of Cairo, GA, Peyton Tyler Harrison of Cairo, GA, Coleman Harrison (Jennifer), Jeremy Huskey (Mincie), Ashley Bryan (Tammy), all of Whigham, GA, Jeffrey Bearden (Charlotte) of Crawfordville, FL, Jackie Bearden (Christy) of Camilla, GA, Kelly Huskey Rollo (Pat) of Fort Mitchell, AL; and a host of other nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by: parents; husband; son, Douglas Harrison, Jr.; and a sister, Inez Dollar Godwin.

The family will receive friends at Pine Level Baptist Church immediately following the funeral service.
